This journey takes you to the heart of a landscape dotted with vineyards and picturesque villages scattered on either side of the Gorges (canyons) de l’Hérault. For 3 generations, the winegrowers of the region have driven the quality revolution in the Languedoc region.
Full-day wine tour
Your guide will pick you up at home at 10 am, you’ll start the day with the visit of the famous Mas de Daumas Gassac, 1st « grand cru » of the Languedoc. On the way, we’ll stop to admire the view of the gorges of the Herault from the famous Devil’s Bridge. You will then have free time during the lunch break to explore the charming medieval village of Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert, a jewel of Romanesque art in Languedoc and a UNESCO world heritage site. Take the time to stroll through the medieval streets, visit its famous the abbey. The lunch will take place in a restaurant of the village. In the afternoon, visit two small family wine estates making organic wines. Return to Pézenas around 5 p.m.
